Load Lifters

What are load lifters?

Load lifters are adjustable straps located at the top of a backpack's shoulder straps that connect to the upper portion of the pack frame or body. They help distribute weight more effectively by pulling the top of the pack closer to your back and transferring some load from your shoulders to your torso. Properly adjusted load lifters improve balance, reduce shoulder strain, and enhance overall comfort during hiking and backpacking by optimizing the pack's center of gravity.
