Pristine Site

What is a pristine site?

A pristine site is an undisturbed camping location that shows no evidence of previous human use or impact. These sites maintain their natural appearance with intact vegetation, no fire rings, tent platforms, or worn pathways, and require campers to follow strict Leave No Trace principles. Pristine sites are typically found in wilderness areas or backcountry locations where established campsites don't exist, demanding that visitors camp with minimal environmental impact and restore the area to its original condition upon departure.
