Self-inflating Pad
What is a self-inflating pad?
A self-inflating pad is a sleeping pad that combines open-cell foam with an air chamber system to automatically inflate when the valve is opened. The internal foam expands and draws air into the pad, though additional manual inflation is often needed to reach desired firmness. These pads provide insulation from the ground and cushioning for sleeping, offering a balance between comfort, packability, and convenience for backpackers and car campers.
