Shock Cord
What is a shock cord?
A shock cord is a stretchy, elastic rope or cord commonly used in camping and outdoor gear to secure items with flexibility and tension. It consists of elastic rubber strands enclosed in a woven fabric sheath, allowing it to stretch significantly and return to its original length. Shock cord is frequently used in tent guy-lines, gear tie-downs, bungee applications, and as adjustable connectors in backpacks and outdoor equipment where you need secure but flexible attachment that can accommodate movement and varying loads.
