Wag Bag

A Wag Bag is a portable waste disposal system used by hikers and campers to pack out human waste in wilderness areas where digging catholes is not permitted or practical. It consists of a puncture-resistant outer bag and an inner bag containing waste-treatment powder or gel that neutralizes odors and begins breaking down waste. These Leave No Trace waste disposal bags are required in many alpine environments, desert areas, and sensitive ecosystems where human waste could contaminate water sources or damage fragile environments.
