White Gas

What is white gas?

White gas is a highly refined, clean-burning liquid fuel commonly used in camping stoves and lanterns. Also known as Coleman fuel or naphtha, it burns efficiently at high altitudes and in cold temperatures, making it ideal for backpacking and mountaineering. White gas produces consistent heat output and leaves minimal residue, though it requires priming and is more volatile than other camping fuels like propane or butane canisters.
