Accelerometer
What is an accelerometer?
An accelerometer is a sensor that measures acceleration forces acting on an object in one or more axes (X, Y, and Z directions). It detects changes in velocity, orientation, vibration, and tilt by measuring the force of gravity or dynamic acceleration caused by motion. Accelerometers are commonly used in smartphones for screen rotation, gaming controllers for motion sensing, and robotics for stability control and navigation.
