Crimping Tool

What is a crimping tool?

A crimping tool is a specialized hand tool used to mechanically join two pieces of metal or other materials by deforming one or both of them to hold the other. In electronics and wiring applications, it's primarily used to attach connectors, terminals, or splices to wire ends by compressing a metal sleeve or connector around the wire strands. The tool applies controlled pressure to create a secure, permanent electrical and mechanical connection without the need for soldering. Different crimping tools are designed for specific connector types and wire gauges to ensure proper connections.
