DIN Rail

What is a DIN rail?

A DIN rail is a standardized metal rail system used for mounting electrical and electronic equipment in control panels, distribution boards, and industrial enclosures. It provides a quick and secure mounting method for components like circuit breakers, relays, terminal blocks, and control modules without requiring individual screws or brackets. The most common type is the 35mm wide rail (DIN EN 60715), which features a top-hat profile that allows compatible devices to snap on and slide along the rail for easy installation and maintenance.
