Dupont Connector

A Dupont connector is a type of crimp-style electrical connector commonly used in electronics prototyping and low-voltage applications. It consists of a plastic housing that holds individual pin contacts, with the pins typically arranged in a single or double row configuration. These connectors are widely used with breadboards, Arduino projects, and ribbon cables because they provide reliable connections that can be easily inserted and removed. They are named after the DuPont company that originally developed this connector system.
