Flash Memory
What is flash memory?
Flash memory is a type of non-volatile electronic storage that retains data even when power is removed. It uses floating-gate transistors to store electrical charges that represent digital information, and can be electrically erased and reprogrammed in blocks or pages. Flash memory is commonly found in USB drives, SD cards, SSDs, and microcontrollers, offering fast read/write speeds and high durability compared to traditional mechanical storage devices.
