IR Sensor
What is an IR sensor?
An IR sensor is an electronic device that detects infrared radiation in its surrounding environment. It can either emit infrared light and measure reflections (active IR sensor) or passively detect infrared radiation emitted by objects (passive IR sensor). These sensors are commonly used in motion detection systems, proximity sensing, temperature measurement, and remote control applications due to their ability to detect heat signatures and movement without physical contact.
