Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) is a control algorithm used in solar charge controllers and inverters to extract the maximum available power from photovoltaic panels. It continuously monitors and adjusts the electrical operating point of solar panels as conditions change due to varying sunlight, temperature, and shading.
