What is Near Field Communication?
Near Field Communication (NFC) is a short-range wireless communication technology that enables data exchange between devices when they are brought within close proximity, typically 4 centimeters or less. It operates at 13.56 MHz and allows for both active communication between two NFC-enabled devices and passive communication where one device can read data from an NFC tag. NFC is commonly used for contactless payments, device pairing, data sharing between smartphones, and reading information from embedded tags in posters, business cards, or product labels.
