Op-Amp

What is an op-amp?

An op-amp is a high-gain, differential voltage amplifier with very high input impedance and very low output impedance. It amplifies the voltage difference between its two inputs (inverting and non-inverting) and is commonly used in signal conditioning, filtering, mathematical operations, and feedback control circuits. Op-amps are fundamental building blocks in analog electronics and can be configured for various functions like amplification, buffering, oscillation, and active filtering.
