Solder Sucker

What is a solder sucker?

A solder sucker is a handheld desoldering tool used to remove molten solder from electronic components and circuit boards. It consists of a spring-loaded piston mechanism inside a tube that creates vacuum suction when triggered, pulling hot solder into a collection chamber. The tool is essential for electronics repair and rework, allowing technicians to safely remove components by first heating the solder joint with a soldering iron, then quickly using the solder sucker to extract the liquid solder.
