Trace

What is a trace?

A trace is a thin conductive path, typically made of copper, that connects electronic components on a printed circuit board (PCB). It functions as a wire or electrical connection, carrying electrical signals, power, or ground between different parts of the circuit. Traces are etched or printed onto the PCB substrate and can vary in width depending on the current they need to carry and the impedance requirements of the circuit.
