Voltage
What is voltage?
Voltage is the electrical potential difference between two points in a circuit, measured in volts (V). It represents the force or pressure that pushes electric current through a conductor, similar to how water pressure pushes water through a pipe. Voltage is what drives electrons to flow from areas of higher potential to lower potential, enabling electrical devices to operate. Common examples include 1.5V batteries, 5V USB power, and 120V household AC power.
