Amplifier
What is an amplifier?
An amplifier is an electronic circuit or device that increases the amplitude (strength) of an input signal, producing a larger output signal while preserving the original signal's characteristics. It takes a weak electrical signal and boosts it to a higher power level, voltage, or current using energy from an external power source. Amplifiers are fundamental components in audio systems, radio transmitters, sensors, and many other electronic applications where signal strengthening is required.
