Pin Header
What is a pin header?
A pin header is a rectangular connector consisting of a row or grid of metal pins protruding from a plastic base, commonly used to create removable connections between circuit boards and components. The pins are typically spaced 0.1 inches (2.54mm) apart and can be arranged in single or multiple rows. Pin headers are widely used in electronics prototyping, Arduino and Raspberry Pi projects, and modular circuit designs where components need to be easily connected, disconnected, or swapped. They work in conjunction with female sockets, jumper wires, or directly soldered connections to establish electrical pathways.
